Write about the best gift you have received.

The best gift I have received is my personalized, professional-grade baseball glove. I had been admiring that particular model for a long time, and my parents knew how much the right tool would boost my confidence on the field. For a few months, I used it for almost six or seven hours a day, meticulously oiling and breaking it in until it molded perfectly to my hand. I was able to snag hard-hit balls that I used to miss and finally felt like I had the equipment necessary to play at a high level with my team. I am very appreciative of it because it wasn't just leather; it was a commitment to my passion. I still use it a lot, trusting it every time I step on the field, and I know it will be with me for a long time.

Summary: We did a quiz on our vocabulary and learned about formal and informal language.

Reflection: I learned when to use formal language and when to use informal language.
