Write about something that you wish you had more of.

Prompt: I wish I had more free time to just relax. It feels like every single day is packed with something, and I'm always rushing from one thing to the next. I would love to have a whole day with no plans, no homework, and no pressure to do anything. That kind of time lets you recharge and just enjoy the moment. Having more of that would make all the busy days feel much more manageable. Summary: Today we worked on Turing in and finishing our story posters. Reflection: Today I finally learned how to make an AI image and put a picture into a blog post.

What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

Prompt: I haven't really created or made anything that's super creative. But if I could make something, I'd want to build a robot. I've always thought robots were cool. My robot would be a helper and a friend. It would do all the chores I hate, like cleaning my room and doing dishes. It would be awesome to have a robot companion that could help me out. Summary: Today we started our virtual poster for our myth. Reflection: I learned how to use the adobe platform, and how to format my story.

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Prompt: A burning question that has me wondering about life is  "What is my purpose?" It's a question that helps me think about what really matters and how I want to spend my time. Another question I have is, "What makes a person truly happy?" Asking these kinds of questions, even without a clear answer, helps us learn more about ourselves and the world. Summary: Today we planned our origin myth out on writable. Reflection: I learned how to plan a story step by step, also how to work on the writable platform.

Describe a time you felt completely lost.

Prompt: A time I have felt completely lost was when I was trying to do a whole project in one night. Staring at my computer screen late at night, I felt completely lost. The huge project I had put off for so long was due the next day. A feeling of panic hit me as I realized how little time I had. My mind raced, but I couldn't come up with any good ideas. I felt trapped and overwhelmed by all the work I had to do. In that moment, I knew I had to just start working, no matter how impossible it seemed. Summary: Everyone presented their projects. Reflection: I learned the right way to present, by facing towards the crowd and looking at them. Not just reading off like a robot.

Analyze how you’ve adapted to the demands of this course over the past week, and evaluate one strength and one challenge you anticipate as we progress, justifying your insights with personal examples.

Over the past week, I have adapted fairly well to the demands of this course. I have learned how to analyze an origin myth. I anticipate encountering a strength and a weakness along the way. One strength I plan on encountering is my ability to connect themes and lessons from myths to broader cultural values and personal experiences, which will help me think more deeply. One weakness I expect to face is sometimes struggling to organize all of my ideas clearly, but I will work on improving that through practice and feedback. Today is class we took an assessment on origin myths. It gave me a chance to show what I’ve learned about analyzing their elements, themes, and cultural lessons. I felt more confident because I’ve been practicing how to connect the stories to their deeper meanings.

Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

One meaningful place in my life is a baseball field. It doesn’t have to be one specific field—it could be any field, anywhere. For me, the field represents more than just a place to play; it carries memories, growth, and a sense of belonging. I’ve been playing baseball ever since I was little, and the game has followed me through every stage of my life. Each field I’ve stepped on holds its own story of wins, losses, friendships, and lessons that shaped who I am today. No matter where life takes me, whenever I step onto a baseball field, I feel at home. It’s a place where I can always return to the love of the game and the memories that come with it. today we learned how to analyze the elements and themes of the Navajo Creation Myth to understand its cultural significance and moral lessons. I can use this knowledge to show how the Navajo Creation Myth isn’t just a story, but a guide that teaches values like balance, respect, and kinship.

Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

Jealousy negatively affected my relationship with my coach. When I was on a team in the summer for the sport I play, I got good playing time. Then someone who was better than me or who I thought was better than me came and tried to take my spot. I would constantly compete with him at everything I could or got a chance to. When we had a game and we got the starting lineup, he was playing, and I wasn't. I was mad and also confused because I thought I was so much better than him. I asked my coach if he was playing over me, and he told me he was just resting me for the more important game later on. Today, we read about a passage that talked about a jealous father and the negative impacts. This impacted me, so I know not to make the same mistake that I might have in the past.

Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

A time I felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths, was when I went hiking. When I went hiking, and heard birds chirping and trees rattling. I listened to the wind blow through my hair and onto my face. When I was hiking it felt as if everything was in place and where it was intended to be. It was like I was connected to nature in that moment and everything was at peace. Summary - In class we went over Native American Literature Reflection - In class I learned about the characteristics of origin myths. I learned about the d etails about creation of Earth, humans, and plants and animals and that they c ontain social values, customs, and cultural details.
